I might have one from a solid lifter TD. I was told that it overheated but I never bothered to check. I'll pull the head off and examine everything next weekend (if I remeber my tools)

I don't know. I'm at school now so my teacher might be able to help me rebuild one of my spare blocks. And I don't think my truck will be done until the spring so its not like I need it done soon....
Still interested in those parts we talked about on vortex?

actually the vortex parts are too much for me right now, I need to get back in the black, sorry about not getting back to you on that.

Let me know about the head, cracks are my main concern

I've got one that would make a core to rebuild.  It's got cracks between the valves.  But as I read, it's common.  12mm NA.

core is fine, cracks between valve are fine too, prechanmber cracks is what I'm worried about. What the history of it?

It's off a 84 Rabbit.  1.6L NA.  Had a blown headgasket.  It sat for a while and rain water got into the engine.  So the valve seats and valves have rust on them.  No cracks in the prechambers though.  Don't really know much more than that.  I picked up an entire head with injectors cheaper than I could have had this one reworked.
