Very nice. Love the sound. I counted out loud when you did your 40-160 (25mph to 100mph) run. About 13 seconds. Pretty fast. I wonder what your 0-100kph time will be when you have the quatro set up installed. You should be able to do a very good 4-wheel drive, full power launch  What boost are you running?

I'm also curious to know the 0-100km/h, I need traction below 50-60km to made this.
24-25 psi from 2000 to 2500, 26-28 psi from 2500 to 4500, and fuel cut-off at 4800.

Well, engine bay is done, the motor runs fine, I let running the engine for 30 minutes and to check with Vag-COM, all seems to me perfect for the moment.
For the axle, I used the MK4 VR6 24V 6 speed, they are telescopic axles and direct fit on MK3 body with 6 speed, I'm very happy for this, less work and less money.
There is the diesel tank to install, and exhaust, and I could go to tests on road.
do you have photo of the v6 axles ?
i found some and i want to know if they're same.
thanks.

I used New Beetle S axles on my Golf. I found the drivers side was a bit on the short side but fine if the car is lowered (my car is probably lowered about 3-4 inches). I had to shorten the passenger side axle a bit.

Well, the car run great, It's my daily car, I do not have any problem with it.
Here some pic of the car:
And finally, here the dyno result I had made in september, It's not a 100% nice curve, I had some problem with the VNT control, the turbo actuator is in a weird position and the travel is not linear, combined with a bendind actuator rod to get the proper aligment...
Since the dyno session, I rework on the Turbo atuator an make some adjustment on the N75 map, now I get a better control of the boost, I plan on another dyno session before the winter season with bigger nozzle.
I also make a dyno run with stock configuration, but I only get 18-19psi of boost due to the laggy VNT20 in the stock configuration instead of 22psi for the PD150, combined with my home made 3'' maf housing.... but I can easily estimate 130-135WHP for this engine for the stock setting.

Very Nice Martin! Can't wait to see the updated dyno with the slightly larger nozzles you were talking about.
Had any snow to run her about in yet?

That is a very nice HP & torque curve. You have much better torque than I do in the 2000-2600RPM range. What is your EMP spike before vanes open at 2250RPM? What kinda of EGT's do you run through that RPM range at WOT? I am very curious because I envy the spool up you have.
What injectors are you upgrading too, Race783's?

Turbo is GT2052V, dont know EMP, I do not have gauge installed to monitor EMP.
EGT max 1400F, almost no smoke.
Stock injector and nozzle for now, the uppgrade is for later.
I make all my possible to make the turbo to spool fast and much, but like on the dyno It's a little too fast (surge), I lower it a bit.

I siezed my first turbo in about 30minutes do to high EMP (+60psi) :? chalk it up to a learning experiance. It would be interesting to know what EMP you needed to hit to get that level of spool before vanes first open. You must have some smoke below 2200 RPM WOT, no? I can see it must be very clean burn after that. Are you planning on upgrading your turbo to a VNT22 or 25 to go along with the Race783 injectors? All my research has shown me that the PD150 injector and the VNT2052 & 56 are a perfect match for one anouther as they both max out around around 230BHP.
Too bad we don't live closer, I would love to swing by and take a look at your project. May be some day I will be in that area to visit some relatives.
I hear you know where I can get a PD injector install kit for a good price, would you share that info?

I have this turbo since several years, and I had installed on another engine (ALH) before the PD150, never had problem with that.
Here a small video of the spoolup on the ALH:
http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=FFgUr2Mw9UUMaybe this would be interesting to see the EMP, but it not worries me, I'm not all day long with the pedal to the floor, and I rarely press 100% pedal at 2000rpm.
Here a pic of the requested boost, As you can see I ask 28psi only at 2600rpm when WOT:
No smoke at spoolup, I work several hour, try and error, on the chip to get no smoke and fast spool as I can.
I buy The PD injector O-ring at the dealer Bosch around here, there are nothing mysterious with that.

The sky is the limit if money is not.......
It's a crazy project you have. I can surely make what you want, but loooots of work..!!
Crew-Cab and short box (shorten the caddy box) or long box? it will make a very long truck :?
How about the dual wheel conversion? like the dually toyota pick-up in the 1980's ........ It would take a monobeam axle.
Thank for all comment.
