Help with Engine Code

2003 VW Jetta Tdi with a code that comes back as.....

17970 P1562 035
Quantity adjuster-N146
Upper limit stop value sporadic.

What does it mean and how do I fix it? Thank you ALL!

Have you got a Bentley manual for it? Have a look to see what the N146 component is, and perhaps that will point you in the right direction?
Sounds like it may be part of the injection pump?
