The AAZ exhaust manifold is the same as the 1.6 ones, unless you have a K03 turbo

I too have a 1.6TD manifold complete with a seized garrett T3 turbo that has no hope of ever being replaced. So I decided to move to a KKK based system found in the 1.9TD engine. Hopefully it won't be soon discontinued as well.
Not counting my dead turbo, I don't know how long my 1.6 engine will hold in there, so if, as I plan, to move eventually to a 1.9TD AAZ engine, I might as well start with the correct turbo. Ever since I got screwed on e-Bay (twice) by buying used garretts, I decided I was going to buy a NEW turbo anyway.

Call Jack's Auto 902-538-1486, ask for Chris. They may have smeothing there or be able to point you in the right direction. Chris has a nice jeta Falir with a 1.9TD souped up in it
