Add your location to your profile to make it easier, and good luck on the search, there are a few members on this site (myself included) that have been looking

wondering if there are any other turbos out there from gassers that would be close in performance/trim/mapping to a K14.....one that comes to mind for me is the IHI rhb5 turbo found on late ford turbocoupes and mazda 626's and probes.....any thoughts?......and how well would a T3 perform on a tdi M?......has anyone tried this?

I would think the IHI would do the job. Great little turbo. Good to 18psi. Most from the TC's are dual cooled (oil/water) which equates longer life. Most IHI's were replaced with larger T3/4 hybrids as they are small for the 2.3L, so chances are that one you pick up will have low miles on it..
