my vacuum line to the rear of my boost gauge blew off lastnight and sprayed oil EVERYWHERE, so i was wondering how you guys have worked around this?

also, as an additional quiery, is it normal for the gauge line to fill with oil?

some oil from blowby will find its way into the line, mine always did that(until I ran a catch can that is)

if the line broke, was it because it was rubbing on something?

im not sure whee the oil is coming from, seeing as my breathers arent actually connected to the intake hose :s

Then the oil is coming from your turbo.

How much boost are you running?

A spring clamp should keep it in place.

if you believe the gauge then just under 2 barr, but i think realisticaly its about 1.2 at the very most

i cant find any clips small enough, but ive been given some "wrapping wire" which aparently will do the job?

you have no idea how useful zip ties are do you? mercury outboards uses them on all small hose connections from the factory. fuel hoses, water hoses, everything. zip ties. they are awesome.
