What would cause a head to crack like this? My guess is very high EGTs

Not letting the engine warm up befor mashing to go pedal.

It can even be done to a naturally aspirated engine.

You guys know I mean the one from the precombustion chamber to the intake valve right?

Yup

Might be more common to the naturally aspirated motors, as they probably are flogged cold more often due to lack of power

I have a head that looks exactly like that, its a TD head.
