I just got a '92 NA jetta parts car. I am using a bunch of parts on my 88 jetta TD and was thinking of dropping the motor in my Samurai. I would like a turbo in my sammy and I hear the main roadblock to turboing a NA block is the lack of squirters. The Acme Adapters FAQ claims that from about 1990 on the NA block had oil squirters too ( http://www.acmeadapters.com/faq.php ) What do you guys think?

No squirters in a 1992 na

next time you do an oil change just drop the oil pan and have a looksie... only takes a few minutes

I won't really be doing an oil change as this is just a parts engine but It does have a dent in the pan and I have a better one to put on so I can have a look. Where should they be exactly? under the pistons I know but at the front of the block or the back? Does anyone have a link to a section drawing showing their location?
thanks

they're like on the back of the motor, towards the passenger cabin, but i know its out of the car, but haha just for reference.

They are towards the front of the car, near the flywheel side of each cylinder.
