Title: cylinder head bolts

The manual says to replace all my cyl head bolts when replacing head. Ive searched far and wide with bolt and parts vendors for these TTY bolts.

one screw vending shop said to install 12.9 grade allen bolts of the same size - they will work better.

anyone chime in to what strength are our 1.6D cyl head bolts.

Here is a thread discussing aftermarket studs (http://vwdiesel.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=4208&highlight=arp+raceware)
They take a different torque proceedure from stretch bolts.
