I forgot to bring a camera to the shop so I couldn't take any pictures of it mounted, the welds look a million times betterin person, for some reason the camera makes them look pretty bad. I am not done seam welding it yet, it'll get ceramic coated, this is one of the first prototypes, all equal length runners within 3/16" of each other. This manifold fits 1.9's no problem with o2o or o2a/o2j trannys, but I bolted it onto a 1.6 and found that runner #4 is too low (1.6 blocks are 1" smaller than 1.9 blocks). So I'll be changing #4 runner for production units, maybe even this on still, I have another couple designs but space is very limited if I want to fit a big turbo AND my custom intake manifolds. I had a full T3/t4 turbo bolted to this in a 1.6 today, clears the firewall no problem, the compressor side of that turbo is about the same as a hx35.

The full blown equal length, pulsed firing sequence headers like this will be about $850 CAD with ceramic coating, thats just a ballpark price for now. Not cheap for the average joe, but dirt cheap for the quality and performance of these manifolds. I plan on making some kits as well, and hopefully after I get moved into my new shop in January I will come out with some very affordable tubular headers, they will likely still be equal length but no pulsed firing sequence.

WOW. Will the turbo be located in the same spot? What I want to know is if the PP downpipe will still bolt up just the same. Beautiful work!

Hopefully I will have some pictures of the new design up this weekend, I'm not done it yet but I am shifting the turbo further over to the passenger side than where this one sits. No this does not place the turbo in the stock location so you can't use the stock or the Passenger 2.5" dp's, don't worry I will make downpipes for these manifolds. I would like to make it that way but the stock turbo location doesn't allow for an upgraded intake manifold, which I should also have pictures of in the next couple weeks.

There was a guy in AUstralia named Britten. Made a v-twin motorcycle with a unique exhaust system that was nick-named "bundle of snakes". This reminds me of that. Really nice looking....

hey i was just watching discovery channel's countdown for the best bikes in the world... britten's came in 6th I think??? he built that whole bike piece by piece HIMSELF!!! craaazy!!!

Actually he was from New Zealand. Although he designed pretty much everything himself out of then new carbon fibre, when it came to actually making the parts for the B.O.T.T. racer(battle of the twins), and the few street bikes he made, a lot of the machine work was farmed out. A nice machine if for no other reason that it`s a V-twin that ISN`T a Ducati or a Harley,... :lol:
