Title: AAZ Crank timing mark?
Post by: goomicoo on June 07, 2015, 10:58:33 am
I'm doing an AAZ swap into my Vanagon and would like to do the timing belt before I install the engine.
The transmission is not mounted and there is no timing mark on the crank pulley that I know of.
Is there one on the vibration dampener? I can't see any marks on the block to line one up with either  :P
Is there a tool to use on the crank pulley to hold it @ TDC?
Thanks for the help, I'm new to AAZ's  ;D

There should be one on the flywheel. If you haven't taken the belt off already just mark each sprockets location in relation to the block
