Just like the subject says, also what type of vehicle can they be found in.

The stock turbo is a better match than any other turbo I've checked.

Hey VWMike,
Which one works better, the KKK K24, or the garret T3? Vw used both of these on the td's didn't they?

Hey VWMike,
Would this also be the best match if you wanted to increase boost, and do the inj. pump mods?

Both the Garrett and bigger KKK will work fine,I don't think you'll see a big difference in performance unless your squeezing every last drop of power out of it.Even then it's a toss up depending on your driving style. These turbos work better in the upper RPM ranges.
I prefer the smaller K03's,as they spool really quick, and still have decent top end.I would rather use the better low end grunt, rather than rev the snot out of it for a daily driver. They will still do OK at moderatly high boost levels if needed to keep EGT's in check.

This is when it comes the bi-turbo.

Well after seeing Malone's GT20 in action I would lean that way unless you are going for BIG power, see his Gtech posts to give you an idea where he is at. Spools quicker then either the garrett or the KKK stockers and clears up the smoke better.

I just thouht of somthing else if you want a bit of an upgrade but don't want to shell out big $$ for the GT series turbo's a T3 50trim is a nice upgrade.

i have a t3 with a .48 turbine, and a .42 compressor, i may try it out to see how it goes.. anyone used one of these before?
