Post by: theman53 on September 05, 2013, 05:55:13 pm
Granted I haven't timed a 2013 but I am certain they didn't change it that much. I would say this is a fail for sure.
same guy started both threads.

now thats a pd.... it is unlike others as it lacks pump... the use 3 13mm headed bolts to allow the cam gear to spin free of its hub...

just did cam set in 05 pd today.. :P 20k ago he had someone do a t belt.. one of the 4 crank "xzn bolts" 8mm allens on rest of pre pd orld.. was missing its head... snapped clean off... i pull the other 3.. the crank gear.. feel the broken on ewiggle.. grab my dremal... slot its end.. wip i tout with a screw driver... you can see where they hour glasses it!! then i look at the other 3.. they all hour glassed too... i saved one... taped the other 3 to his cam.. he still at work.. i left his key under floor mat at a prision!! but really.. how do you over tighten those 8mm bolts that much.. how the hell did they hold the crank from turning to do that??
