Title: Fuel only coming from two Nozzles.
Post by: shwak23 on June 23, 2012, 09:10:45 pm
I have this injection pump. It was resealed by some kid I know who had supervision of experienced people but I don't know how much they helped. I have been spinning it over with a drill and I only get fuel out of the bottom two nozzles on the back of the pump... Not the top two? Why?

Did you push or pull fuel through the pump before turning it over or did you start dry?

I filled it with fuel using an electric pump coming off the return line.

Could those nozzles be clogged?

I had that happen on a pump that I completely disassembled and reassembled.  With additional cranking it all sorted itself out.  Was the electric pump running the whole time you were spinning the pump?

I don't think it was. I am going to put it back on the car and try just cranking it some more. Maybe she'll work her own kinks out.

Fyi excessive cranking and this particular issue solved itself.
