Number 1 reason to go to aircooled shows...to score watercooled parts!
Found this MEGA rare NOS cruise control for diesel mk1's. Of notable importance was the Neuspeed steering wheel with hub that was also scored for a song.
I was going to install the cruise but I did a vacuum delete on my 1.6TD. Probably will keep them both around.
Pics or didn't happen.

Yep the air guys don't know what they have when its watercooled and you can score great stuff cheap!

i take cruise from say quantiums, mk2 jetta and even audi 4k and add it into mk1 and such.. easy swap per say.. but you gotta have a speedo with the cut out for the speed sensor..

I installed an Audiovox CCS100 cruise control in my '92 Eco. I wired it to a factory cruise control lever and used the included sensor and magnets for the speed signal. A vacuum motor runs off the engine vac pump. It has worked perfectly going on 4 years. Unfortunately, Audiovox stopped selling them. :(

What is something like that cruise kit worth if someone happened to say oh have one laying around? ;D

Last cruise I bought was 250 bucks so one so rare should be worth at least that or more.
I would have to replace the lawn mower cable I have attached to the throttle in order to make this one work.
