Title: VNTs on TDIs

I know it is here somewhere, but I can't find it in my sleep deprived state:

What years of TDIs had VNT turbos? I may have a chance to by a few turbos/manifolds at a good price but they are kind of a "pig in a poke" as they say,  I need to make sure that I am not buying things that I do not need and can't use.

the 98 or 99 NB got a VNT, and the 2000 and newer Golf & Jetta i believe. anything with an ALH or newer will have a VNT..
