Title: Downpipes, anyone interested?
Post by: spencebm on May 11, 2011, 07:34:29 pm: I was thinking of making a few downpipes for guys on this site. I can get stainless or mild steel and have had success making a few for mk2s. 2.5inch and 3 inch would be possible for the k24, T3, and K14. What do you think? I am not saying they would be Passenger Performance grade but I have ran a stainless 2.5inch dp on my mk2 1.9 for about 2 years and it has been great. V-band clamps are an option, also. Let me know what you think.

I will be making an all stainless 3in version with v-band as well. PM me about it if you want one and we can negotiate. I really like seeing so many diesel guys taking action and fabricating their own stuff. Let's get some pics in here of your custom dps!!!!
