Title: Boost Controller
Post by: spencebm on August 30, 2010, 03:32:40 pm
What is a good one to buy?  I have tried to make one but am having trouble getting it to stay at the right boost level.  Could someone give advice on a high quality item that I can get 30-40 psi out of that isn't junk.  Thanks.

If you are looking for a good one look at Turbosmart.  They have a few different ones.  I have both the manual and eboost2.  The cost is $70 for the manual boost controller and the eboost2 is around $550 depends where you look.  So far I have only used the manual on the rabbit.  I am using the eboost2 on the bug.

I have tried the DIY approach and my design needs to hold a lot of boost, not 10 psi like most of the options out there, more like 25-30.  I am using one currently like likes to move my spring and not work anymore because it is of the home made variety.  I was just curious as to what everyone else is running because I know a lot of guys on this forum are running serious boost numbers.  Thanks for the help, too.
