I had the luck of picking up this little beauty yesterday. 96 - 1.9 IDI. Low mileage 160-ish Klms. Runs perfectly and for a steal of a price - three hundred bucks. The previous owner just had the exhaust, including the cat all done as well as all the brakes. Bodies good, interior is good, tires are good. It's just a gem of a deal.
I can't believe my good fortune. When I started it up and it started no problem this morning to see if it would start in the cold weather, I could smell that all to familiar smell. Yup - I think I'm smelling a performance rebuild on this one for my near future for my daily driver. I'll install a gasser in this one and give it to my daughter.
