Title: Cold starting 1.9(AAZ) vs 1.6td
Post by: veedubcanuck on January 31, 2010, 05:01:32 pm
Just out of curiosity here... Do the 1.9s start better and in colder temps then the 1.6's?? My 1.9s start OK even when -20c and not plugged in... my 1.6s are HARD to start under the same conditions, even talking to some other owners of the older engines say the same thing. All the cars have about the same mileage on them, all working GPs, and all good compression numbers... So are the 1.9s really better cold starting engines? If so how come?
