Title: where to find a dial indicator adapter for an 8mm shank

seems like the ones i've been finding are all 3/8 or 10mm.  anyone know of anywhere.  just got a new dial indicator and need the adapter now so i can finally time my pump right.  thanks

found it on this place for 37.50.  not too bad.  I had the prothe set before, and a new setup.  looking forward to it.   :P

You can buy one direct from the VW special tools and Equipment program. The part number for the tool is a 2066. Looks like they get $20 for it (probably a Matra tool). CHEEP.

Your local dealer MIGHT sell it to you, but who the hell knows. My dealer claims they can't sell the tools to the general public.
