Title: which is better, K14 or T2?
Post by: LoneWolf on December 06, 2009, 11:35:48 am: im building a replacement head for my AAZ, and ive got a choice of turbo units, so i was wondering which is the better unit, the KKK or the Garrett?

On that application its been found that the t2 will spool quicker and is a more robust turbo than the k14.
K14 more easily adjusted however.
General consensus with 306 owners is that the t2 is better.
Im not sure if that helps you vw owners but i htought id give my 2cents.

26psi was the most i ever seen with wastegate wound in as far as possible....you could tell it didnt like it either....
Is it even possible to reach 45psi on a k14?????
