I don't think I've shown off my oh so snazzy engine on here yet, so here it is.
I've installed a GTI 4:2:1 exhaust header on it. I have a 1Y inlet coming for it which should help it breathe better. I plan on yanking the head this winter and doing some P&P work as well as cleaning out all the crap from when it had an EGR. Gross.

The picture is 780 kb for those of you with dialup.
Here is a picture of all the crap in the intake from the EGR

I haven't corrected my mileage for my speedo being out but I've been averaging about 5.3l/100kms.

Very nice... and you sure can't complain about the economy.
Now if you only had a Giles pump. ;)

I like. If there's a more bulletproof engine out there, I'd like to see it (heavy machinery excluded!).

Purple Pump? LOL

The TDI manifold I put on the 1.6 was clogged to the point that you could barely fit a pencil in the inlet. :o The "jet clean" method works REALLY well, even if it is a bit scary. :D
