I'm gonna try to get the T/D pump running tomorrw morning, I got it back on this evening after not having time to mess with it for many months. When I took the N/A pump off I did the glow plug modification since there was more room to work. I got the solenoid at T/S and a lot of 10 Ga. wire and soldered all the conections and it seems to work fine. I like hearing the solenoid click when you turn the key ;D At first all I could find was some 10 Amp fuses and I had my test light hooked up to watch the plugs light and it blew all 4 fuses at the same time after a few seconds. There were no shorts or anything, just the fuses were too weak. I scrounged around some more and found 2 15's and 2 20's and it seems fine now, I'll get more 20's tomorrow. One thing I can't figure out is that sometimes I get a little squealing sound under the hood when the plugs are lighting. I haven't actualy tracked it down yet but I imagine it's coming out of the solenoid although it doesn't feel hot or anything and all conections are soldered and heavy wire used everywhere with a battery cable feeding the solenoid from the starter connection. I am going to add a push button switch to the circuit also just in case the relay does fail sometime down the road I did get the T/D pump on today and have it timed at 1.03 and primed it with the lift pump and it should be ready to go in the mornng. It seemed fine on the bench, I hope it's the same on the car and I'm anxious to see how the car reacts with having the T/D pump on it compared to the N/A one although the car runs great with it timed at 1.15. I'm hoping this will give me a little more zip and possibly more boost.
