So I did this, http://www.vwdiesel.net/forum/index.php?topic=21600.0 and I find that if I adjust the hot idle to 850ishrpm then when the engine is cold it idles at around 550-600rpm.....and that will rattle a guys teeth out :P It didn't do this nearly as bad before this 'mod', I did notice though that the more I turned in the max fuel screw the worse the idle varied, now it's waaay worse though.
So is there a way to make the idle more stable?......other than turning down the fuel ;D.
I was thinking I can rig up something that will idle it up when I pull the cold start.....
Or does it have something to do with the gov shaft which I'm sure is moved from the stock position? Even though I don't know what it does.....thanks
