Title: New to the board.
Post by: Rollin_Coal on September 29, 2009, 08:13:25 pm
Hey,

I have a 1987 Turbo diesel Jetta, 410 000 kms, 5 spd.  Car runs awesome and consistantly gets 900-1000 kms to a tank of fuel.  I run standyne additive every tank and chance the fuel filters twice a year.  I have had the car about 3 years .  It's due for a timing belt and a valve set so while im in there i would like to step on it a bit.

Anyone have a list of cheap "mods" that can be done or a good recipe for more power.  Thanks for any response.

well welcome to the mad diesel house  ;D

have a look at the FAQ's there are a few mods you might want to look at ... but with 410k on the clock I personaly wouldn't push to far

Howdy! Fuel pump screw adjustment after some research through here, and re-assembly there  ;)
