Title: hydro head on mech bloc

Would a hydro head (RA) mount on a mech bloc (CY)? What would it take to do it properly?

I don't have the 2 heads to compare ( so going after your knowledge  8) ). This is for a high milage original GTD MK1 golf but the mech heads are hard to find

well, one big hurdle will be the secondary front oil drain. the mech block dont have the provisions.
