Post by: skifree on August 07, 2009, 12:31:17 pm
I have a t2 turbo and need to change drain and feed position about 30 degrees. Is it possible to move just the center section of the turbo?

yes. but you will have to re bend all the lines to fit the new clock position.

loosen the 6 bolts on the hot side, and the 6 bolts on the cold side, then rotate the center section where you need it. look up how to rebuild the turbo. it will tell you how to get it apart at least, and re clocking it is super easy if you can get it apart.

Are there any gaskets in there that will need to be replaced when that is done.

no, not if you are careful. there should be an o-ring around the cold side, but that shouldnt break.
