Is there a way to repair this without having the entire pump rebuilt? It's leaking from behind the 13mm nut that fastens the adjustment screw (and I have it cranked on fn tight!). Any insight greatly appreciated, the rabbit is now my DD so stuff like this is going to kill me!

Possibly just need to replace the o ring that is on the adjustment screw....easy peasy, just unscrew it right out after noting how far it protrudes so you know how much to screw it in on refitting, then replace o ring.

awesome, anyone know what spec o-ring wont get destroyed by diesel fuel? I found a place in Canada that sells the pump rebuild kits ($20 for all the o-rings & seals) but unfortunately they will only ship it via snail mail and I need it by this Friday so I can ensure this thing can stay on the road! Can anyone confirm the size of o-ring before I pull it out?
ANY help greatly appreciated, I cant be leaking fuel all over the place, and alternatively I have to get my butt to work all week!

Is it the screw that is just above the stop solenoid?
In the image below, it is the screw that is just behind the 2 banjo fittings on the top facing out the back of the pump. It adjusts how much fuel is going in at any given time.

Also, I am guessing the o-ring can be found at any place that carries varying sized o-rings? I am checking now to find what the best type of material could be used for a diesel application, and will probably just buy a slew of o-rings and hope I got the right size (unless anyone can confirm)?

Get an assortment of metric o-rings from Autozone. Chances are you will find the right one in the kit. They'd likely be BNR (buna nitrile rubber) which will be ok for diesel. If you want to run bio-diesel you'd want Viton. If you have a local hydraulic shop, try them also.

Yea I was unsure if the heat rating would call for Viton o-rings but after speaking with a seal shop in the area they feel Buna-N would be my best bet. I figured a metric kit might have the correct size but would really like to verify the correct size.
Anyone have the following info?

Ok so I found the chart below and cross referenced the p/n off a czechoslovakian website that stated it's 6x2mm. Off to the hardware store :)

Word to the wise, never trust a czech (or a hondury as it may be). Got the o-ring and... whats this... TOO LARGE?!?!?! >:(
I cruised down to the local shop I had hit yesterday and picked up there 500+ generic metric o-ring kit, and it happens to have a 5mm x 2mm exact replacement. So, mental note, 5mm x 2mm, not 6... and double check everything you read online. Live and learn, -$0.62 thanks to Honduras.
The ol' girls back on the road not leaking, is it weird that I miss the smell of diesel while cruising? Feels a touch peppier as well... ::)
