Title: clutch trouble

Hi all,
  I mounted an AUG transmission to my 1.6 GTD and got no pressure on the clutch pedal except the spring from the arm that controls the pushrod.  I meant to check the grease on the thrust plate to see if the pushrod had even touched it, but I stuck my finger in it by accident taking the transmission back off.  Is this a clutch plate alignment issue?  I don't have the alignment tool, but I tried to get it close when I tightened the flywheel.  Do I perhaps have the wrong size clutch?
