Title: How much are you running?
Post by: Jay on May 26, 2009, 02:02:26 pm
I've not been able to find a thread like this and I'm interested in how many ponnies your car's are making?
If you've not dyno'd it how much are you expecting?
and maybe a summary of your mods?  ;D

1 Bar = 14.5 psi.  So that's about 29 psi.  ;)

91whp @ 25psi t3 mods in sig. No intercooler at time of dyno

I wonder if intercooling will make a really big difference for you? if carrizog is getting 136 with a similar engine.

intercooling made a huge difference. i put a huge intercooler off of a volvo on mine. it works like a champ. my intake manifold never gets warm, unless you shut the engine off, then it gets some heat soak, but thats it.

Here goes my first post here (I can be found on TDIclub usually).

'91 ECOdiesel, GTD injectors, NA pump, fuel screw turned just about all the way up, 2.5" straight-pipe exhaust from the downpipe back... running 12 psi at the moment.  I expect somewhere around 80 hp, but I'm still waiting to get some dyno time to see for sure.

Future projects, now that I've redone the entire suspension, include a VNT 17/22 turbo, Giles pump, intercooler, and new injector bodies.

Nice site!  I look forward to doing some more poking around.   8)
