Title: differences in injection pump pulley wheels - 1.6 to 1.9
Post by: sdelasal on May 07, 2009, 04:19:53 pm
Using VagCat i get p/n 068 130 111b for the 1.6 engine and 028 130 111A for the 1.9 engine. Can anybody tell me what the difference is?  I'm fitting a 1.6 TD pump to a 1.9 engine and need to 'acquire' a pulley wheel as it's missing and am wondering if it makes a difference which one i use. Steve

If you had the 2 piece pulley on the 1.9 pump you will need to change the pump mounting bracket

Thanks - i'm realising i'll also probably need to change the belt cover too or do you know if the plastic covers work with the older pump mounting bracket design? Steve
