Does anyone know the size of the opening in the stock diesel exhaust manifold?
You know, on the toilet bowl one? lol I was thinking of maybe "porting it" per say and then using the same type of hookup but making the holes as big as possible and then running a big pipe after it.. it should work to be pretty nonrestrictive.. don't you think? I mean it looks like its gotta be 2.25-2.50.. which is about as big as you need with an N/a right?
Just wondering aloud on this one, your comments, advice and knowledge are all very welcome. :)

Yes i measured the inner diam of the stock 1.6 exhaust mani.
approx 2.5" Which is ideally the best size without over kill for an N/a correct? Now if I take the DP and open it up to have the inner of that also 2.5" and then follow that back all the way with the 2.5 pipe, then it will be just as free flowing as any other 2.5 exhaust.. or am i missing a big piece of the picture here? lolol
Seems a good way to do a budget exhaust that will still be nonrestrictive. (and for me.. anything budget is the way to go) lol

that should flow really nice, NA manifolds are very good compared to turbos.
