So I got myself a injection pump for the boost pin mod for my 1.9 IDI. This thing is in excellent condition and it's a shame to have to cannibalize it just for the parts necessary for the swap, but sacrifices sometimes need to be made in the name of progress. My question is - once I've removed everything I'm going to need would it be advantages for me to install the parts off of my 1.9 onto the 1.6 pump and try and re-sell it? And if so what would be a fair price to ask, the pump just seems to good to just throw away?? Thanks.

if you wanted to get rid of just the canibalized pump pieces for a really good price, i would take them off your hands. my input shaft bushing on my pump took a *** and now the sprocket sits crooked and it almost threw the t-belt.

when I tore into my spare 1.6 pump for the coveted boost pin I then resold the pump minus pin. got $140 cdn for it. mind you it was a good pump to begin with. oh and I kept all my 1.9 parts too.
