Why would we spend $100 on a pin when we can grind our own for free?
Strange post.
-
Oh I'm taking it easy for sure.
It it certainly is not imposable to grind a pin like that.
I have 2.
Once again I'll ask, why would we pay $100.00 for something we can do ourselves?
That's the beauty of this site, lots of free information to be had. Such as how to grind a AFC pin.
Look at it from my angle, it's your first post and your promoting a product, a product that is cool I'll give ya that but.....
Welcome to the board BTW, don't take my railing on ya personal it's not.

you can adjust the star wheel instead of changing springs? if i wanted something like that though i would just go looking for a 1.9 pin since they're basically flat to begin with

hillfolk'r on this forum did grind the pin really crazy (on a 1.9 pin)... i wish i had a pic! there wasn't much meat left on the one side if that gives you any indication to what it looked like

Easy Zuk, not everyone has the comfort level or tools to grind a pin. From personal experience grinding the only pin you have is a bit stressful & I couldn't have done it if I didn't have access to a nicely dressed grinding wheel AND a polishing wheel to remove the grinding marks that would eat the boost pin in a month or two of regular driving. Since Brickwerks doesn't ship to north america & no one has a line on boost pins here for similar prices I think its a useful post!!

Andrew, have you or anyone else found a source of springs that match certain boost ranges? I originally shimmed my aaz spring .25" & now have a 1.6 spring to experiment with.
