Just came across a 1.6 N/A for $100 hehehehe so its sitting in my garage now lol. when I was driving it home the GP light was blinking on and off. what does that mean???
-
That could indicate there is a problem with the water separator. Either it needs to have the water drained out or the circuit is no longer functioning properly.
-
I Drained the seperator. and I'm still getting the warning light blinking.
-
and the Tach isn't working, the speedo work fine.
-
Is the GP light blinking with a regular beat or is it a bit irregular ? If irregular, it could be the GP relay is faulty and that could lead to early failure of the GP.
-
it's a regular beat, the gp work fine because t does take them long to heat up.
-
or the circuit is no longer functioning properly.
This would be my guess. Have a look at the fuel level sender. The wires for the water separator are right there
-
Wires?... 1 more question... Does anyone know the colors for the stereo wires since the previous owner cut the wiring hareness out.
