First off let me start by saying this is a great site with a ton of info and i have learned alot in the last 2 days reading everything i can.
I was curious if anyone knows where to get a passenger performance downpipe for a 1.6td in my 84 jetta. I called kerma tdi and they said that pp no longer makes them and wasnt sure if anyone knew of a company that still might have a few laying around or know someone who might want to get rid of one.
thanks in advance

I believe Dave made them per order so there wont be any laying around.
If you can weld even a little you can make your own out of steel for cheap.

Is the site I found, but he only makes stainless steel ones now. No more of the cheaper steel model and like Zuk said, probably weld up your own cheaply :D

Looks like he's bailed completely on IDI down pipes, and doesn't sell to the general public....
I really can't blaime him, we're a fickle bunch. But Nertz, I was interested in a 3" SS down pipe. I have to make it myself.
So i guess Techtonics is the only 'off the shelf' down pipe for the IDI market:

They also have a downpipe for a MK2 chassis but it isn't listed on the site, you have to call them and ask for it specifically. Same price of $300 as the one for a MK1 chassis.
