Title: valve spring retainers, where to buy?

I have parts with 300,000 miles I want a new engine.

1983 solid 1.6L  head

sometimes with other makes of cars the valve keepers get pulled through the  retainers.  

I am buying new valves and keepers, where do I buy new OEM steel retainers? I haven't seen any anywhere

I have never ever seen that happen, as long as the valve springs are in good shape there's no need to replace retainers in my opinion. Dealer is your only option if you must have them.
