Title: Need a picture

I am looking for a picture showing where the power cable from the glow plugs runs.  The current system was been altered and the relay has been bypassed.  I would like to set it up factory again.

Its for a 91 Jetta

no clue. I bypassed mine as I didn't like the old system. sorry I don't have a picture or anything just thought you needed a reply.

On a 91 Jetta it should go from the bus bar to the firewall above the brake booster where there is a 50A strip fuse. From there it goes into the firewall to the fuse block

I think the above is for a mk1 but it should be the same

If the fan relay was bad, would it affect the glow plugs from working?

Currently the system does not work unless I bypass the relay.  The light on the dash never lights up.  I have replaced the glow plug relay, but still nothing.
