Title: T3 oil inlet fitting
Post by: stewardc on May 31, 2008, 10:14:23 am
I'm going to get rid of the problemous steel oil feed line to my turbo...but...Almost every website shows the oil inlet fitting for a Garrett T3 turbo as being 1/8 NPT. Mine is a straight thread with a sealing washer. What size is the thread?

12mmx1.5(for the stock fitting) the turbo itself is something else.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you mean here.

I went to a local shop and found the fitting. This is it. The left side is sealed by a copper washer.

I did the same and had an AN (is that what they're called?) line made.  Way nicer and gives some options for routing.

You know, I never asked. He said it was a special metric fitting. The PN includes "L06-12M.JICxM.Metric, so I guess that's the size.
Now to get my braided line shortened and installed so I can get rid of that hideous hard line that blocks my gauge sender port.
