I read here somewhere that the internal pump seals are best upgraded to viton if you plan on using B100. Right now I am dealing with fuel line connections in my car and if the pump can't/shouldn't have B100 then I will not go through the expense and hassle of replacing all the non-metal bits of fuel line with Viton. I would really like it to all be B100 safe though. And lastly are Viton pump seals readily avalible? I assume that there a few different seals in my 5 banger pump than a 4 abnger pump as well...

Speaking of viton lines... Are viton hoses of that diameter available through regular parts outlets or is that an industrial item? Sources?

http://www.mcmaster.com/ has viton is any size you could need, but it is spendy.

Is the urethane clear? That would make it even better.

McMaster sells tubing called Chemfluor 367 that is clear and biodiesel compatible. It looks really neat on the fuel filter-to-injection pump line. I used 1/4 ID x 3/8 OD and it pressed on the stock hose barbs real tight and doesn't need hose clamps. And it costs a lot.

I got the blue urethane line from the local cycle shop. Looks sweet.

I recently saw a veggie conversion on a caddy that used lines that looked like the plastic lines used on pop machines and hot tubs. Seriously. It was clear and looked like it had some sort of fiber weave reinforcements in it.
I believe it's here...
