I'm curious as to what we are all seeing as far as boost levels are concerned.
If you would please list your car specs, just basic stuff like pump mods and injectors, intercooler etc and of course what max boost you are seeing.
I'll start with the format I was thinking of but if you have one that gets the info out go for it.
90 Jetta
10mm pump with timing advance mod done and govnah mod done.
Timing set @ 1.05mm
New injector bodies with merc tips
K24 turbo
Non intercooled until it gets here (bought today)
3" turbo back exhaust
Fresh engine with AAZ head gasket and ARP studs.
Max boost seen was 38psi :shock:

I know you asked about 1.6TD.....
I have a 1.9TD
95 Golf
Stock pump no mods besides fuel screw turned in maybe 1/4 of a turn
timing set @ 1.00mm
new/rebuilt injectors (stock single spring)
T3 turbo (blocked wastegate)
no intercooler
Stock exhaust (fart can on the rear - came with the car when I bought it)
bottom end is stock with 368k kms, head is rebuilt with a slight port and polish done by me
max boost seen was about 17psi

i've run 30 on mine, with stock pump and stock down pipe into a 2.25 exhaust. i wouldn't suggest doing so haha
