Title: fuel shutoff

has an anyone heard of the fuel shutoff plungers wearing out faster, after turning up the max fuel screw? :(  alot of guys with the first gen cummins complain about this problem.

I've never heard of that. It doesn't make sense that it would have any affect on the plunger.

my friend had so much trouble with it he removed the shutoff plunger and converted it to manual shutoff.
