thanks....and for those wondering about my questionable upper radiator hose. im going to get a new one soon. that was just meant to be a temporary fix

a guy I used to work for commonly claimed that "there's nothing more permanent than a temporary solution that works!"

Often true.  :)
Those hoses used to be quite expensive.

You seem to have the "ultra-desireable" tall outlet for you fuel return line on your injection pump.

Tap that baby and see what your IP pressure is.

Jtang and Dr. D- On my old syncro, I fixed a rotten braided power wire on my starter (in the dark night of a Nebraska winter) with 2 vice grips, a strip of copper, and a roll of electrical tape.  Kind of forgot about it since it worked so well ;) .  Two years later the shop guy that changed the starter (cause it was worn out this time) handed my gooey vice grips back to me with a funny expression on his face!

bus depot.com has em for 36 dollars. thats like 20 less than everywhere else i have found.

follow that thread.  if you can get your pump to run at the right internal pressure you can enjoy great fuel economy  :wink:

ok i must be missing somthing how do adjust it if i need to. i get the adding a gauge and everything but as far as how to adjust it im not sure
