hey..
i am hoping to get some more work done to my car this winter and need some help making my shopping list
about a month after purchasing the car i blew the turbo and now it's just been sitting. so i have been talking with pete (optiks) about which turbo to get, and i'm sure pete must be messeging dave here as well, or will at some point. pete will continue to do the work on the car, because i don't trust anyone else with it.. and he knows that car inside out :P
here's a list of things i have planned for the car:
-new turbo--gt25 has been one of the main considerations
-oil lines to turbo
-connecting rods
-possibly new injectors (not sure if pete already did them)
-may go up to a 3" up from 2.5"
-Passenger intake :P
-5 lug conversion, disc all around and possibly a big brake upgrade
-centers for the rims to convert to 5 lug
-giles pump
-strong engine mounts (maybe?)
that's all i can think of off the top of my head. if there is anything i've overlooked, please post up :P small things too.

For any OEM parts you might need: http://importcarpartscanada.ca/
Get the hard rubber engine mounts, not the hydro or solid mounts.
INTERCOOLER ;)

hard rubber would be best? or like polyurethane or something that you always see advertised for import cars? that is i guess if they even have them for the diesels.
i'm already intercooled :P
do you have experience with that site? are they good?

it was mentioned in a thread to stay away from polyurethane bushings.

The poly stuff will shake the fillings out of your teeth. From what I've read, a solid front mount with rubber rear and tranny mounts is pretty good and smooth. You can also use hockey pucks as a solid front mount.

I've ordered a few times with them, they are reliable and ship fast. Since you're somewhat local to them it shouldn't take long to get your stuff.
