Are they the same part? If not does anyone have the part number handy for the 1.9 pump?

Really? If it's a 1.9 AAZ, 1Z or AHU, then the pump is the same. If it's an ALH or later (1999 or newer), then the pump is different. The newer cars have the water pump driven by the timing belt. The earlier cars water pumps are driven by an accessory belt, and the part number is all the same.
