Title: 1.5 head or 1.6 engine

Hi I have just found out that the head for my 1978 1.5 IDI is dead and cannot be resurrected so do I get a bare head for $A875 or put in the used 1.6 turbo engine with 5 speed gearbox?  I have no idea what condition either  engine is in as I have not had the car or the 1.6 engine very long.  I am a learning amateur mechanic with good skills but little knowledge

if you can go back to your profile and add your location! it will help line up parts in your area! If you like i have some good 1.5 heads and willing to trade and some cash for your 1.6 TD core motor ? I need a TD head for my caddy my injector boss is broken! still runs but will need to be replaced soon!
