Title: part numbers for 3 piece bearings?

local vw parts store doesnt carry a 3piece bearing for my 82 1.6 n/a

so is there a part number? they carry mahle and kolbenshmidt stuff...

need them for ,25mm oversize

026 198 493  is .25 over - that's just the bearing shells, not the thrust washers.

myke_w is too modest.  Just make your life easy and order the good stuff from myke_w.

PN 026 198 421 for the thrust washer kit.

Note:  Mike, I just finished my motor and it Purring like a kitten.  (5 months kinda slow eh?, but I got some excuses like slow machine work and someone taking my AC compresser and holding it hostage for 2 months!)

Coolair, I've been building my coupe motor for at least 6 months so no worries, I'm not even close to having the car done.. a few pics for ya..

On topic...  I'd be glad to supply the thread creator with bearings, pm me if interested. no pressure tho, if you find them local, go for it, just don't buy junk.

i'd order them from myke but i already bought the 2piece and im trying to exchange them but they cant find em

myke are these a vw diesel specific bearing? it looks an awful lot like an ABA factory bearing...

pretty much all 4cyl vw ABA is the same IIRC
