Title: B4 TDI injection pump, anything useful for a VE pump?
Post by: Black Smokin' Diesel on August 26, 2007, 05:08:27 pm
There's a B4 TDI in my local junkyard, the engine is complete but suffered from a rather severe engine fire (most likely battery related as there's not much left of it). The wiring harness is history as is anything plastic/rubber. Is there anything useful inside the TDI injection pump (10mm plunger, camplate...) that can be used in our idi pumps?

I may snatch the turbo as well if it spins freely. They sell parts for dirt cheap (any 4 cyl head for 50$, calipers for 14$...).

I'll let you know but I doubt it, the turbo is really small (k03 small).
