Here's some pictures of my adapter with a 200mm flywheel from a beetle with a water-cooled's bolt pattern heart.

Hey type2 idi,

I've sent you a Private Message for more info on your adapter plate.

A couple questions:

1) you say you use a "200mm flywheel from a beetle with a water-cooled's bolt pattern heart." Where did you get this? Did you machine it yourself?

2) What starter do you use?

  Thanks for little lesson S., for the flywheel I get the heart done at a machine shop then they weld to the flywhell and its off to the balancing. For the stater when I use a gas engine I stay with the starter from the Bus but in this case I use the starter from the engine (Jetta 97) I just have to modify the Bus bell housing a little!
